All hydraulic components are mounted on this trimmer frame. This allows easy removal of trimmer from the tractor. Controls can be mechanical (rods), cable controls of electric over hydraulics from some cab tractors. All controls are designated to be easily removed fro the tractor and accessible to the operator.An optional power take off pump kit is available for tractors. These pump kits can be used then the tractor hydraulic capacity is inadequate. It also provides a closed system – matched flow of the Trim-N-Prun cane cutter. | |

Ruggedly build, spring loaded, breakaways protect the cutter bars from vineyard obstruction, long break away tubes allow for adjustment through the center tube assembly. Each break away allows for adjustment fo cutter bar angle in 15 degree increments. | |
| Knives | ||

Sickle knives are an old technology which lends itself perfectly to the vineyard. Simple knife and guard provides clean cutting of heavy growth with a minimum of expense. Guards and sections are bold on units and available from many sources. Sickle bar speed is regulated by the operator through a hydraulic flow control to the motors. | |
